Melissa Maldonado-Salcedo, PhD (Mel) is an artist, anthropologist, and educator at NYU. She is co-editor of Harmonizing Latina Visions and Voices: Cultural Explorations of Entornos (2024) and writes about Latina health and the politics of erasure.
