Elsie B. is a writer and educator born and raised in New York City. She draws her writing inspiration from her diverse ethnic and cultural background rooted in the Dominican Republic, Saint Kitts, the Bronx, and her love of spiritual mysticism and travel. She is a contributor to the anthology Una Visa Por Tus Sueños published by the Dominican Writers Association, Latina Media Co, 21ninety.com, and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. She enjoys exploring new destinations, attending concerts, practicing yoga, dancing salsa, or reading a book in her free time.
