Brittany Menjivar is a Salvadorian-American writer born and raised in the DMV, now living in the City of Angels. She co-hosts Car Crash Collective, a late-night literary reading series based in LA. As an arts and culture journalist, she has contributed to a variety of publications, including the Los Angeles Review of Books, V Magazine, Document Journal, and Movie Ranker. She also works as a screenwriter; you can stream her short film Fragile.com on the ALTER Channel via YouTube, where it has over 2 million views. Her first book—Parasocialite, a collection of short stories and poems—will be released by Dream Boy Book Club on March 15th, 2024.
