Laysha Macedo is a first-generation, Mexican-American writer. She recently earned her BA from UCLA in American Literature & Culture and is currently freelance writing. Her work has been featured in UCLA’s La Gente Newsmagazine as well as HipLatina. She enjoys writing about the shared experiences of Latinas and the visibility of Latines in the media.
